With the implementation of K-ETA, nationals of 112 countries/regions eligible for visa-free entry need K-ETA approval in advance to board a flight or ship bound for the Republic of Korea. It is recommended to apply for K-ETA at least 72 hours prior to boarding the flight bound for the Republic of Korea. K-ETA can be used multiple times within the validity pediod (3 years within the passport expiration date).
*Notice The Ministry of Justice decided to extend the temporary exemption period for 1 more year to stimulate the tourism industry in celebration of “Visit Korea Year (2023-2024)”, the exemption will be effective until December 31, 2025 (KST).

The invitation letter can be downloaded from the Registration Information on My Page after completing the registration with full payment of the registration fee.
If you need a notarized invitation letter for Visa application, you must apply and pay for the notarized invitation letter fee in the registration process. After completing the registration, please send a request to the secretariat (secretariat@ltupdates.org) with a copy of your passport. It will take 2-3 weeks to receive the original copy of the notarized invitation letter.
*The secretariat may request additional proof of identification from you, and the notarization of invitation letter may be rejected when your identity and current employment is presumed irrelevant to the purpose of the congress.
